This Policy applies to all businesses, developers, and entities accessing WalletPlug and is incorporated into the Platform Terms of Service and Merchant Services Agreement.

1. Purpose

This Policy exists to:

  • prevent fraud, abuse, and financial crime

  • ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and card network rules

  • protect WalletPlug, its partners, and financial institutions

  • maintain platform stability and trust

WalletPlug reserves the right to interpret and enforce this Policy at its sole discretion.

2. General Use Rules

You must:

  • operate a lawful and legitimate business

  • provide accurate and complete information

  • process transactions only with customer authorization

  • clearly describe your goods or services to customers

  • comply with all applicable local and international laws

Misrepresentation of business activities is strictly prohibited.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use WalletPlug for the following:

a. Illegal or Fraudulent Activity

  • money laundering or terrorist financing

  • scams, phishing, or deceptive practices

  • identity theft or impersonation

  • unauthorized card usage

b. Restricted or High-Risk Businesses (Without Written Approval)

  • unlicensed gambling or betting

  • adult content or services

  • cryptocurrency investment schemes or token sales

  • Ponzi schemes or high-yield investment programs

  • unregulated financial trading or binary options

  • counterfeit goods or intellectual property violations

c. Payment Abuse

  • chargeback cycling or manipulation

  • excessive refunds to avoid fees

  • transaction laundering

  • artificial transaction splitting to bypass limits

d. Platform Abuse

  • attempting to bypass security controls

  • abusing APIs, rate limits, or webhooks

  • scraping or harvesting platform data

  • introducing malicious software or code

4. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

Merchants offering subscriptions or recurring charges must:

  • clearly disclose billing terms

  • obtain explicit customer consent

  • provide a simple cancellation method

  • respond promptly to billing inquiries

Unauthorized recurring charges are prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

5. Compliance and Verification

WalletPlug may require:

  • identity and business verification

  • transaction reviews

  • enhanced due diligence

Failure to comply with verification requests may result in:

  • account restrictions

  • payout holds

  • suspension or termination

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

WalletPlug may monitor activity to detect:

  • fraud

  • abuse

  • compliance violations

  • unusual transaction patterns

WalletPlug may take enforcement actions without prior notice, including:

  • transaction blocking

  • payout delays or holds

  • account suspension

  • account termination

  • reporting to regulators or law enforcement where required

7. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • immediate suspension or termination

  • holding or forfeiture of funds where permitted by law

  • chargeback liability

  • permanent restriction from WalletPlug services

WalletPlug is not liable for losses resulting from enforcement actions.

8. Updates to This Policy

WalletPlug may update this Policy at any time.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

9. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy operates alongside:

  • Platform Terms of Service

  • Merchant Services Agreement

  • Chargeback and Dispute Policy

  • Settlement and Payout Policy

In the event of conflict, the Merchant Services Agreement shall prevail for merchants.
