This API and Developer Agreement governs access to and use of WalletPlug application programming interfaces, software development kits, plugins, documentation, webhooks, keys, and related developer tools.
By accessing or using the WalletPlug APIs or developer tools, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
WalletPlug provides APIs and developer tools to enable approved integration with its payment processing and related services.
This Agreement applies to:
developers
merchants using APIs
partners
any entity or individual accessing WalletPlug developer resources
This Agreement supplements the Platform Terms of Service and Merchant Services Agreement. In the event of conflict, the Merchant Services Agreement shall prevail for merchants.
API access is granted at WalletPlug sole discretion.
WalletPlug may:
approve or deny API access
issue, rotate, suspend, or revoke API keys
impose integration conditions or restrictions
API access is non transferable and may not be sublicensed.
You must:
use APIs only for lawful and authorized purposes
comply with all applicable laws and regulations
follow WalletPlug technical documentation and guidelines
You must not:
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
bypass security controls or rate limits
use APIs for prohibited or restricted activities
resell or expose APIs without written approval
use APIs in a manner that disrupts platform stability
You are responsible for:
securing API keys and credentials
preventing unauthorized access
implementing reasonable technical and organizational security measures
Compromised credentials must be reported immediately.
WalletPlug is not liable for losses resulting from compromised API keys.
WalletPlug may enforce:
request rate limits
transaction volume limits
feature access restrictions
Limits may change without notice to protect platform integrity.
Excessive or abusive usage may result in immediate suspension.
WalletPlug may monitor API usage for:
fraud detection
performance
compliance and risk management
You agree to cooperate with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination.
You may only collect, store, and process data obtained through the APIs for authorized purposes.
You must:
protect personal and payment data
comply with applicable data protection laws
not retain data longer than necessary
WalletPlug may require proof of compliance at any time.
APIs are provided on an as is and as available basis.
WalletPlug does not guarantee:
uptime
availability
performance
backward compatibility
WalletPlug may modify or discontinue APIs at any time.
WalletPlug retains all rights, title, and interest in:
APIs
documentation
software
trademarks
branding
This Agreement grants a limited, revocable, non exclusive license to use APIs solely for authorized purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred.
API usage may be subject to:
transaction fees
usage based fees
integration or service fees
Applicable fees are governed by the Pricing and Fee Schedule or Merchant Services Agreement.
WalletPlug may suspend or terminate API access immediately where:
security risk is identified
misuse or abuse occurs
compliance requirements are not met
inaccurate information is provided
Termination does not relieve outstanding obligations or liabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WalletPlug shall not be liable for:
indirect or consequential damages
lost profits or revenue
data loss
integration errors
third party system failures
WalletPlug total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold WalletPlug harmless from any claims, losses, fines, or expenses arising from:
your API integration
misuse of APIs
violation of law
breach of this Agreement
WalletPlug may update this Agreement at any time.
Continued use of APIs constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable to WalletPlug place of incorporation, without regard to conflict of law principles.
This Agreement, together with referenced agreements and policies, constitutes the entire agreement regarding API and developer access.
