This Settlement and Payout Policy governs how transaction funds are settled, held, and paid out to users and merchants on the WalletPlug platform.

This Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Platform Terms of Service and Merchant Services Agreement.

1. Purpose

This Policy exists to:

  • manage financial risk

  • ensure regulatory compliance

  • maintain platform liquidity

  • protect WalletPlug and its financial partners

WalletPlug reserves the right to delay, hold, or restrict payouts where necessary.

2. Settlement of Transactions

When a transaction is completed:

  • funds are routed through third-party processors

  • settlement occurs after card network and bank confirmation

  • WalletPlug does not guarantee instant settlement

Transactions may be reversed, disputed, or declined before final settlement.

3. New Account Settlement Period

For newly created accounts, including both users and merchants, WalletPlug applies a risk control period for the first ninety calendar days.

During this period:

  • payout requests are processed within forty eight to seventy two hours

  • transactions are subject to enhanced monitoring

  • WalletPlug may hold funds for compliance, fraud review, or chargeback protection

This policy applies to all new accounts regardless of transaction volume.

4. Standard Payout Timing

After the initial ninety day period, payout schedules may be adjusted based on:

  • transaction history

  • dispute levels

  • compliance status

  • account risk profile

WalletPlug may offer faster or delayed payouts at its discretion.

5. Reserves and Holds

WalletPlug may impose:

  • rolling reserves

  • fixed reserves

  • temporary or indefinite payout holds

Reserves may be applied where:

  • dispute or chargeback risk is elevated

  • compliance reviews are required

  • regulatory obligations exist

WalletPlug may apply reserves without prior notice.

6. Payout Methods

Payouts may be made through:

  • bank transfers

  • digital wallets

  • or other supported payout channels

WalletPlug does not control bank or payment network processing times.

7. Failed or Returned Payouts

If a payout fails or is returned:

  • funds will be recredited to the account

  • applicable fees may apply

  • payout may be delayed pending verification

WalletPlug is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect banking details.

8. Offset and Recovery Rights

WalletPlug may deduct from balances or future settlements any amounts owed due to:

  • chargebacks

  • refunds

  • negative balances

  • fees or penalties

WalletPlug may recover outstanding amounts through any lawful means.

9. Compliance Reviews

WalletPlug may conduct account or transaction reviews at any time.

During reviews:

  • payouts may be delayed

  • additional information may be required

  • transactions may be restricted

Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination.

10. No Guaranteed Payout Time

All payout times are estimates only.

WalletPlug does not guarantee any specific settlement or payout timeframe.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
